Let’s go to a fun sleigh ride!

Suitable for young and old, family-friendly and so sociable. Not only is it a wonderful change from skiing, it also brings back wonderful childhood memories. We had so much fun! After all, this is the highest toboggan run in Tyrol, with a length of 2.5 km and a difference in altitude of 170 m.

A field report:

The start is at the 3-lake lift, where the toboggan run begins, which takes you over a pleasant ascent after a 45-minute walk to Graf-Ferdinand House (located directly next to the Alpenrose lift). There you can also rent the sledges. The Graf-Ferdinand-Haus is well known for its cosy atmosphere. The cozy, warm parlors are at least as popular as the sun terrace, which offers a wonderful panoramic view. Well warmed up, after a little refreshment, the real adventure begins.

With joy we speed over the toboggan run towards Kühtai and enjoy the 2.5 km long track. Of course the ride seems to be much too short but fortunately we still have so many opportunities to repeat this “fun”.

We have firmly resolved to have a romantic tobogganing party in the evening next time. After all, the toboggan run is illuminated until 01:00 o’clock at night and the Graf Ferdinand House lures with its Tyrolean home cooking, fondue, and many other delicacies.

For toboggan lovers who don’t like to hike, there is also a toboggan cab on request.
