The Kühtai cross-country skiing area is one of the highest cross-country skiing areas in Austria. This allows you to optimally train your physical condition in fresh mountain air. Kühtai ensures cross-country skiing fun in the Tyrolean mountains with three circular trails.
It’s only a few metres to the start of the Bilgerilopie cross-country ski run (which is definitely suitable for beginners) directly behind the valley station of the 3-lake lift. The cross-country ski run, which is classically groomed and can be used free of charge, leads around the reservoir and around it and is approx. 3 km long.
Two other trails start at the valley station of the Alpenrosen lift. The Alpenrosenlift is only about 200 metres from the Jagdschloss Resort and the Claudialoipe is about 2.5 km long, classically groomed and of medium difficulty. And the Maximilianloipe, which can also be combined with the Bilgerlopie and is about 4 km long.
So nothing stands in the way of a day of cross-country skiing on a well-prepared track. Enthusiastic cross-country skiers will find more trails in the neighbouring communities.
