Summit hike Windegg
with the mountain sports school “Follow me”

This is a hot tip for our summer guests, because the Windegg summit hike is a tour particularly worth seeing. From the Jagdschloss Resort or the 3-lake house in Kühtai, it is only 12 kilometres to the meeting point in Gries. The hike takes about 5 hours and requires surefootedness and stamina. It is a medium-difficulty mountain hike.

Equipment:

• Suitable mountain hiking boots are mandatory
• Hiking poles are a relief
• Please take rainwear and suitable hiking gear with you
• Sun protection for skin, head and eyes
• Sweater or soft shell jacket, if necessary also light gloves and a cap.
• Personal medication
• At least 1 to 1.5 l for drinking and a small meal, e.g. muesli bars or fruit

At the tourist information there is a paid parking lot (4 € per day). Please park your car there.
